We are delighted to announce that our book series, New Century Chaucer, has a new line-up of names for our Editorial Board. Along with our current members, David Matthews (University of Manchester) and Orietta da Rold (University of Cambridge), we welcome our new members:

Louise D’Arcens (Macquarie University)

Sif Rikhardsdottir (University of Iceland)

Marion Turner (University of Oxford)

Cord Whitaker (Wellesley College)

Between all of us, we have a wealth of expertise in Chaucerian studies, late medieval literature, comparative literatures, textual studies and medievalism – all the areas covered by our series. We are keen to receive expressions of interest for monographs (c. 80,000 words), short monographs (up to 50,000 words), edited collections and textual editions.

Many of the new Board were together recently at the New Chaucer Society conference, brilliantly hosted by the University of Freiburg (July 27–31), and we heard many wonderful papers by scholars from the UK, Europe, the US, Asia and Australia. It is very encouraging to know that the field continues to attract early career researchers, and that the enthusiasm for Chaucer studies is shared by so many students and researchers.

If you have a project that you would like to discuss, please get in touch with us.
